Acrylic
Frequently asked questions
Acrylic nails are a popular nail enhancement created by combining a liquid monomer and a powder polymer to form a strong, durable layer over your natural nails. They can be shaped, extended, and customized with various designs, colours, and finishes to suit your style.
With proper care, acrylic nails can last 4 to 6 weeks, but regular infills every 2 to 3 weeks are recommended to maintain their appearance and prevent lifting or breakage.

Yes! When applied and removed correctly by a professional, acrylic
nails do not damage your natural nails. To maintain nail health,
avoid picking at or removing acrylics yourself—always opt for
professional removal.

ideal if you're looking to keep your nails feeling as natural as possible
without sacrificing strength. With BIAB you get the durability you’re

Applying acrylic nails on damaged or brittle nails is not always
recommended, as it can further weaken the natural nail. However, in
some cases, acrylics can provide temporary protection while your
nails grow out.
If your nails are severely damaged, it's best to focus on nail restoration
first. I offer services like BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) and gel overlays which may be better options to help restore nail health
before applying acrylics. BIAB is especially suitable for strengthening
brittle or damaged nails. Check out some before and after photos of my clients who started their BAIB journey.

To maintain strong, flawless acrylic nails, you should get infills
or rebalancing every 2 to 3 weeks. As your natural nails grow, gaps
can form between the acrylic and your cuticle, which can lead to
lifting or breakage if left untreated.
Why Are Regular Acrylic Infills Important?
Prevents Lifting & Breakage – Keeps your nails strong
and secure.
Maintains a Fresh, Flawless Look – Fills in growth gaps
for a seamless finish.
Protects Natural Nail Health – Reduces the risk of damage
from overgrown or lifting acrylics.
